Since first introducing the Forensic Science Workshops, we have been able to provide experiences to fit the needs of many different schools and holiday clubs. Feedback from both teachers and pupils has been positive, but you don’t have to take our word for it, below are just a few of their comments:
As a school holiday club we host many different types of activity for our children. The CSI Academy is certainly one of the most popular, with many children wanting to come back again during the next school holiday. The children love all the hands on activities and there is always a special ‘buzz’ when they put on their CSI suits! It’s great that children from five to ten are able to take part side by side and enjoy it just as much.

We use the CSI Academy in supporting the National Curriculum across English, Maths and Science. It’s not only great fun but the pupils don’t even realise how much they are learning and developing at the same time.
The Academy run the whole day for us from start to finish, which allowed me to really engage with and observe my pupils. It’s a very practical ‘hands-on’ experience, which is wonderfully pulled together at the end when the children dress up and take roles in their own ‘mock’ trial. The children love the fact that the experience is delivered by real professionals, who constantly link what they are doing in the classroom to fascinating real life stories!
